Malika J. Stevely is an author of historical fiction, essays, and African American and women's literature. A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, she earned dual degrees in English and Comparative Literature and Communications. As a former newspaper reporter, she has published an array of articles and interviews with civil rights and literary icons. Her work has received 5-star recognition and has placed as a finalist in U.S. and international literary awards programs. She is a member of national and global book associations. Malika Stevely resides in North Carolina with her husband and children with whom she enjoys singing show tunes at the top of her lungs. SONG OF REDEMPTION is her debut novel.
