DM Mitchell is an editor, publisher and author whose work over the last decade has straddled underground and popular cultures with little regard for conventional categorising. He edited the anthology 'The Starry Wisdom' for creation books, which took the dominant themes introduced into comtemporary culture by HP Lovecraft and reprocessed them via the visions of modern luminaries. A Serious Life, his biography of maverick British publishing house Savoy Books, won the International Horror Guild Award for Outstanding Achievement (best nonfiction title), 2004.
