Muciiri earned a bachelor of science from University of Nairobi, Kenya, a master of arts from Daystar University, Nairobi, Kenya, and a Ph.D. from Capella University, Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A. He is an adjunct professor at Indiana Wesleyan University, U.S.A. He enjoys storytelling to communicate important life principles. "Sons and Dads: Who will reconcile them," is a fiction-Christian story that discusses two Christian dads and their two sons. One dad allows free discussions with his teenage son while the other doesn't. He rejects his son. The rejected son ends up in jail and in rehab. Through the mercy and grace of God, they are finally reconciled.
