Joe Betz lives in Bloomington, IN with his wife, Megan, and daughter, Madeline. He is an Associate Professor of English at Ivy Tech-Bloomington. He has received awards for his poetry from Michigan Quarterly Review (Goldstein Prize), Bat City Review (Editors' Prize), and the University of Missouri-St. Louis (James Russell Grant Poetry Prize), where he earned his MFA in Creative Writing.
