Gwendolyn Harrell-Oyewole is a retired middle school and high school English teacher who now works as an educational advisor, mentor, and Recreational Tech at a local gym. A nature enthusiast, she volunteers with 4-H and participates in community service projects. When not writing, she enjoys traveling, reading, and attending seminars and lectures. She holds a B.S. in English from Edward Waters College and a M. Ed. in education from Walden University. She lives in Florida.
