One of the efforts to reduce noise, especially in the room, is by installing sound absorbing material (acoustic panel) such as carpeting, foam, pumice panels, and so on. The architecture in designing buildings, often receives requests to address the noise as in residential buildings, education, recreation, trade, hotels, and industries. They desperately need the appropriate types of material and the types of construction for acoustic material. One of the materials that can be used as damping material is pumice. Pumice takes a large part of Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara.
