Harald Heppner ist Universitätsprofessor für Südosteuropäische Geschichte an der Universität Graz. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Strukturgeschichte Südosteuropas, Geschichte des Karpatenraumes, Österreichisch-südosteuropäische Beziehungen und Geschichtskultur.
