The study demonstrates how Spain has 'Europeanized' its Mediterranean policy and acquired an influential role in the EU through the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership: a multilateral response to instability in the South.

Autor

RICHARD GILLESPIE is Professor of Politics and Communication Studies, University of Liverpool. Previously he was at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, St. John's College, Oxford, and the University of Warwick. He is co-editor of the journal Mediterranean Politics.
