This book picks up where Are They Singing in Sparta? left off, and although the novel revolves around unrequited love on all sides, it is really a reflection on what beauty is and how it affects human interactions-with a surprise ending.

Autorenporträt
Helena P. Schrader has won more than twenty literary awards from diverse literary contests including Best Biography 2017 and Best Historical Fiction 2020. She holds a PhD in History from the University of Hamburg and served as an American diplomat in Europe and Africa. She is the author of a number of nonfiction works and was recently commissioned to write a book on the crusader states, which brings together scholarly research from diverse academic disciplines into a coherent and accessible form.
