The state of Orissa is one among the least developed states with barely 15percentage of levels of urbanization. The Percapita Net State Domestics Product (NSDP) at current prices during 2005-06 is 17299 where as the all India average is 25716. The present book is an attempt to examine the internal migrants as percentage to total population in Orissa, 2001 and to examine the percentage distribution of migrants in Orissa by duration of stay at the place of last residence, 2001.
