This work constitutes a fundamental contribution in the processes of care for children with cognitive disabilities in their early years, to the extent that it provides pedagogical guidelines that favor their development, learning and inclusion within their communities, recognizing childhood as a significant and basic stage for the life and development of human beings.Adequate care and education in the early years are determinant for their wellbeing and adequate growth; directing it to educators and support professionals linked to the educational service, who lead the work of students with cognitive disabilities, as well as to those who are motivated to initiate the experience, with the intention of providing pedagogical guidelines for the attention of these students in the country.
