A 32-page illustrated picture/comic book for young children which gently introduces us to the idea that whatever your race or gender and whichever challenges you face, you are indeed one of us; together we are sharing this fabulous life.Life was good as an only child but then a little sister came along and stole all the attention. Soon, however, the two siblings go on an imaginary adventure as the older brother tries to swap her for a bike or ball or even a box of bricks. They nearly had fun but on the second day they embarked on another adventure on Tilly their favorite pony and he tried to exchange her for a penguin or puppy or even a funny parrot. He is again unsuccessful and they almost, sort of had fun. On the third day they splish, splashed over the lake to the ice cream shop and this time they definitely had fun! He is asked to describe her to the people of all races and genders and those with disabilities that they encounter on their three-day escapade and discover that whilst looking at the world anew, life is more spectacular when we live it together. A funny story of love and acceptance.

Autorenporträt
Hadar Fadida has tackled a well known problem- the older sibling reaction to a newborn addition to the family. With humor and wisdom, Hadar helps a newborn baby sister's older brother realize that she is the most wonderful thing that could have happened in his life. With skill and sensitivity, she shows us how he tries to exchange her for something else- a toy, a pet, even an ice-cream! Hadar's wit and delightful illustrations make this book a unique and wonderful creation. Every family expecting a second child will find this book a delightful aid in helping their first child adjust to the new addition. I strongly recommend it! Tsila Glidai, English teacher, and author of the children's series: "Tell Me A Story, Grandma Glee!"
