Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate (KDP) crystals are one of the most popular crystals used for nonlinear optical (NLO) applications. Most of amino acids also exhibit NLO property; therefore, the effect of doping of amino acids (L-arginine, L-lysine and L-alaline), doped KDP crystals are already explained in earlier book "Growth of Amino Acids Doped KDP Crystals" LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing, (ISBN-13: 978-3-659-96783-2). In present book the results of FTIR spectroscopy, UV VIS spectroscopy, SHG study, Thermal study and Dielectric study are discussed along with the instrumental and experimental details. The doping of amino acids was confirmed by FT-IR spectroscopy. The improvement in optical properties, such as transparency and second harmonic generation efficiency of fundamental pump laser in KDP crystal by doping of various amino acids have been studied and found that the doping of amino acids improves these properties of KDP. The effect of doping on thermal stability of the crystals was studied by TGA and the kinetic and thermodynamic parameters of dehydration were evaluated. The variation of dielectric constant and dielectric loss with frequency of applied field was studied.
