There are several speed control modes, but for most of them the presence of the operator is mandatory to vary the control law when the load varies in order to maintain the set speed. The question that arises here is whether there is a simpler way to vary the control law automatically without requiring the permanent presence of the operator so that the output speed copies the set point even when the load varies. To overcome this problem, we have developed a speed regulator that allows us to automatically control the speed of a DC motor even when the load is varied by Arduino-Matlab/Simulink.
