When a witch's world goes to the dogs... Enter the world of Raen, turn left at the land of dragons, and you'll find yourself in the country of Aeristria. A place overflowing with magic and creatures that were once only heard of in fairy tales. In the heart of Aeristria is the capital city, Tolvade. Here you will find shops and taverns, laughter and fun, runesmiths looking for their next job, and sneaky pickpocketing imps. Steer clear of the galloping gang of centaurs and you will see the headquarters of the prestigious Coven. Within the Coven's lower ranks, you'll find Vanessa, a third-year Hunter itching to become a Spellweaver. She and her trusted demon partner, Botobolbilian, must investigate an explosion at the academy and bring the culprit responsible in. Easy job, right? Wrong. Vanessa and her partner find that this investigation runs deep in black magic and sprinkled with feral demon summonings. With countless lives on the line, Vanessa struggles with self-doubt and following her heart (and laws) as she tries to right the wrongs of these heinous criminals and bring them to justice before they do any more harm. But, with an oncoming yearly blizzard just days away, is it too late? Even with all the magic, spells, and power on Raen, this job might be the last that this duo ever faces...Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Natasha Wetzel grew up over in Germany for the first few years of her life... until bandits attacked her home and forced her family to seek refuge in the outer limits of the city that was plagued with lazy mobs of zombies. After her father, James Victor Wetzel, and her mother, Ivy Valerie Jackson, took a loan from the local mob boss to help settle into their new life, their lives had changed in a way they could never fathom. It was a stormy night, and the wind was howling like a beast as it sent large droplets of water to pelt the side of Natasha's sturdy home. It was a night she could never forget. It was the night her father came bursting through the doors, covered in wet leaves and rain water, panting frantically as he shoved all of them to collect their things. She could still hear his boots squeaking over the hardwood floors. Lightning split the sky and illuminated the world for the briefest of moments. Natasha could see that there was a rusted buggy outside, the door wide open and the engine still running. It was barely large enough to fit all of the family inside. Two little boys (Michael and Scott), one baby girl (Natasha), and two frightened parents piled in with fearful gazes constantly scanning the darkness. One final check to the backseat to ensure their children were safe and buckled in before they peeled away from the home. Along the car ride to the shipyard, the truth was unveiled as Natasha's father mowed over every fine detail in a pace that she and her brothers could hardly keep up with. The mob boss wanted to be paid back, and her father couldn't keep up with the drastic payments. To avoid sending his family into lifelong servitude, he scooped up his family and fled overseas to America. There, she was given a new name. Nia Rose. Under the comfort of a new - and much more carefree - life, Nia grew fond of her name and forgot all about her background. She poured her endless dreams and fantasies into vast worlds and far off kingdoms. Forever building something new and exciting. Laughing at the fortunes that she had brought about or weeping at the misery that she had inflicted. She was a fate weaver. Magical ink pen in hand and enchanted paper under her poised tip, she was inexorable. She wrote about all the demons she had to face in life, and she conquered them on paper. She reused every pain or joy and let it soak every word until... one day... she handed it off to someone else and gleefully watched them adore it as much as she loved writing it. That was the moment that she knew, even if the mob boss found her, she was going to be an author! As much as I would like to admit this is all ABSOLUTE truth, sadly ... I cannot. But, I am a proud mother of four beautiful children that light up my life and home with their laughter and tomfoolery. I have one fuzzy prince, Lore, the king of the lazy puppies and one handsome (if I do say so myself) husband. If I had any weaknesses, it would be that I feel too much, I drink too much coffee, and that I love with all my heart. With the temper of a red-headed battle mage, and the sass of a rebel princess, and the street smarts of a rogue, I live my days in the comfort of those that I hold dear and the limitless worlds that I create to share with all of you. May your books always give you the escape that you need. -Nia Rose
