No one ever said a guardian angel had to be human . . . Seven years ago, Jacob Sheely was attacked by a grizzly bear, but it's only now that he's starting to have nightmares. From dreams of craggy mountaintops to the stench of raw meat in his room, it's as if the bear has clawed his way inside him, haunting him even when he's wide awake. Now, Jacob is not only trying to fit in at a new school in the Idaho mountains, he's linked to the terrifying grizzly stalking the town. Fueled by a strength and fearlessness he's never known before, he must trust the spirit of the bear, along with his own instincts, and begin a journey. Into the woods where everything started. On the hunt to kill, or save, a bear.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Claire Dean is the pseudonym of novelist Christy Yorke, who lives in Boise, Idaho with her husband, along with two grown children nearby. After years of writing adult fiction, including THE WISHING GARDEN and SUMMER OF GLORIOUS MADNESS, Yorke decided to write two young adult novels-GIRLWOOD for her daughter and SPIRIT CALLER for her son, and took their names as her pseudonym. Nature, and the forest in particular, has always been a vital part of the author's life, from spending her summer vacations at her father's cabin in Prescott, Arizona, to the home she and her husband built in the woods outside of Boise, to the electricity-less and haunted Idaho cabin she's been fortunate enough to summer in, and continually renovate. The friendly cabin ghost is named Mr. Jackson.
