David E.Cooper is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Durham., Joy A.Palmer is Reader in Education and Director of the Centre for Research on Environmental Thinking and Awareness at the University of Durham. Both have published widely; they are the editors of The Environment in Question (1992) and Just Environments (1995), also published by Routledge.
