The Jade Empress takes pity on "Sooky" and enables "Sooky" to interact with Gordon and other members of the Dixon County Sheriff's department to assist the department in dealing with criminal events. Also, the Empress details various entities of the Celestial Realm to augment the department's law enforcement capabilities. Initially, the reinforced sheriff's team investigates "Sook's" murder. The narrator is Deputy Armstrong. Things develop from there. So, come join the hunt.
