For many years, I have enjoyed writing and began to write in 1990, soon after I retired to Colorado. With my parents' early deaths when my children were preschool ages, my desire for them to know where I came from led me to research the past of my parents and to write a book on their spiritual as well as physical histories. This was extremely rewarding to me as well as my children, for I too discovered more about myself. I continued this work to include the same research and history of my husband's parents. J did not have those writings professionally published but had them locally printed and donated to all major genealogy libraries around the country where I had conducted my research, including the local library in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. I titled the four books "Threads", Books I, II, III and IV. When I learned of the recent translation of the "Secret Gospel of Thomas", I was quite surprised that the messages in those writings closely mirrored my personal spiritual journey and from that, I wrote my first published book in 2005, Eternal Threads: A Journey Towards Discovery. My current book is an outgrowth of that experience which challenged me to dig deeper into my memories.
