Dr. April O'Neal-Chestnut has a love for sports and a deeper love for God. She is looking forward to the Spiritually Athletic movement where Christ and athletics strengthen student-athletes in their walk with Christ and on life's journey. She is a Mathematics Professor and Program Mentor. She played sports all her life and coached for the first 5-6 years of her career. She is the mother of three, 8, 6, and 2 years old. Military Spouse and wife to a wonderful husband. In managing all the different hats, being Spiritually Athletic has sharpened her tools to navigate this new season of life. She loves her athletes and sports, and her goal is to see the athletic arena grow in a positive and enjoyable way.
