Paul McHugh is the award-winning author of novels, journalism features, and works of nonfiction. Born amid a Florida hurricane, as a youth he rode west, and wrote for the Outdoors Section of The San Francisco Chronicle for two decades. He still considers the wide, wild world his school, and his tales of it - including a few investigative series - have run in many national and regional newspapers and magazines.
