Rachel Biles is a native to San Antonio, Texas. Armed with a BA in Communication from the University of Texas at San Antonio and many years of professional marketing and public relations experience, she has a knack for words and enjoys a good creative writing session. Her debut children's book, Spooky the Skeleton, was inspired by a true story from her and her husband navigating their two young children's fear of a Halloween decoration. Seeing the world from their eyes allowed Rachel to rediscover the beauty in childhood innocence and sparked a passion for writing children's books. In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. She also enjoys sewing, graphic design, being a fan of Taylor Swift and spending time with her four cats.
