The number of people participating in sports, female included, is continuously increasing worldwide. However, sport participation, regardless the level at which an athlete participate at, from professional to hobby, recreational or just fun, sport participation is not an injury free event. In addition, participants are just focusing on the enjoyment, socialization and other health benefits sport participation can offer but less attention is paid on what can predispose them to different type of injuries.
