The thesis deals with psychological analysis of the personality of a sportsman in sports pellet shooting using individual psychological training. We focused on the performance motivation, particularly on formation of the optimal aspiration level for sports performance in a selected sports discipline. By means of psychological testing we have ascertained the level of relevant aspirations and their fluctuation along with successful and unsuccessful activity and we attempted to regulate these levels via individual programs. We have conducted a research in 10 test persons from the field of top performance sport, aspiring for the country representation.
