Born and raised in Nebraska, Larsen Bowker has lived more than half his life on a Blue Ridge Mt. He learned the secrets of the endless horizons In Nebraska and powers of solitude in the Mts. Hes been published in poetry journals all over America. Out of the spiritual barreness of our technological age, hes taken from his Mothers faith in the spirit and his Fathers faith in the quiet mystery of his own two hands, hes tried to find a place safe from the 24 news cycle cant encroach with cynicism and loss of faith in lang- uage to express feelings, but also to express those feelings, and know were not alone, for his poems pivot on the fulcrum of memorys intimacy. The poet has been nominated several times for a Pushcart Prize. Hes been published in many of Americas leading Poetry Journals. Spring and Autumn is his eighth book of poetry, and hes working on his 9th Shadows of the Heart
