Dianne H. Lundy grew up in the north Louisiana establishing her country roots. She was an active 4-H member, winning the Key Club Award her senior year. She put those skills to use by obtaining a B.S. degree in vocational home economics from Harding University in Arkansas. She taught for thirty-three years in Louisiana schools, later obtaining two graduate degrees and being named to "Who's Who Among American Teachers" five times. She met her husband, Richard, on the ham radio. They married and had one son, Jonathan, who is now married with three young daughters affectionally known as "The A-Team." After retiring, she now devotes her time to writing, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her granddaughters. Her first book was her autobiography, "The Girl from Nip 'n' Tuck."
