Autorenporträt
Peter Waine is a past Master of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, a former chairman of CPRE, of the National Fruit Collection( at Brogdale), and of the Tree Council. He has been on the boards of public and private companies in addition to being a former visiting professor at Warwick and Bayes Business Schools. A former member of the International Cricket Council and a trustee of both the Royal Opera House and of The Gardens Trust. Waine is author or co- author of two business books, a business novel, a collection of poetry, two books on the countryside and a biography of A E Housman. He is chairman of the Housman Society. He is a former judge for the Wainwright Literary Prize and for the Contrarian Prize. He stood for Parliament.
