When Ron retired he attended a creative writing class with the objective of producing children's stories. This resulted in 24 short tales, which gathered dust until a new friend persuaded him to publish at least one. Squidge was written just for fun and never intended to be published. Three books have been published, namely A Boy called Josh, Grumpy Stories, and Gershwin the Bay Pony.
