This book is a Ved¿ntic text known as the Sr¿ Adhy¿tam Park¿sh which was written by Kavi Sukhdev Singh. Kav¿ Sukhdev Singh was one of the court of poets under the guidance of Sr¿ Gur¿ Gobind Singh J¿. The text is one of the preliminary texts studied by Gursikhs prior to the knowledge of Gurb¿n¿. I have written this book in an attempt to provide the Ved¿ntic philosophy studied within the court of the Gur¿. This text was created within the Kav¿ Darb¿r and provides the essence of Ved¿nt within one text to prevent Sikhs from continuing to seek other forms of knowledge which may plummet them into doubts. Even within the text there are sections that mention the doctrine of the Bh¿gvat G¿t¿ and the ¿tam Bodh. This is the last of the main five Ved¿ntic texts that has been translated for the benefit of the sangat. This should hopefully assist those who do not have a complete grasp of the Gurmukh¿ texts or the Punj¿b¿ vernacular. This book is a direct translation of the commentary completed by Sant Har¿ Singh Randh¿we wale. This commentary is a lot easier to understand than the one created by Mahant Ganesh¿ Singh and is more suited for those students looking to progress on the path of Sikh¿.
