Ed Wheatley is an award-winning author, film producer, and sports historian. He is the president of the St. Louis Browns Historical Society & Fan Club and holds leadership positions at both the Greater St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame and the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame. His books have been recognized by Sports Collectors Digest, the Society of American Baseball Research, and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Ed is a two-time Mid-America EMMY award-nominated producer who won for his documentary A Baseball Legacy: Fans Remember the St. Louis Browns. He also has had multiple selections for the National Baseball Hall of Fame's film festival.
