The study of stability parameters in the present investigation revealed that among the environments, the E-1 environment (Kakching, with 20:40:20 NPK Kg/ha, sown on 27th October) was the best for yield and its components. While the E-8 environment (Moirang, with 20:40:20 NPK Kg/ha, sown on 7th November) was the lowest for yield and its components. The better genotypes for phenotypic stability of grain yield and its components was found to be L-830 and it could be recommended for general cultivation over wide environmental conditions in Manipur valley.
