A basic question in the theory of functional equations is as follows: When is it true that a function, which approximately satisfies a functional equation, must be close to an exact solution of the equation? Madjid Eshaghi Gordji received his M.S. degree in pure mahematics from Tarbiat Moallem University, Iran, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree in mathematical analysis from Shahid Beheshti University, Iran, in 2004. He works as an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics in Semnan University.
