This book presents the results of research conducted at the Société Nationale d'Electricité (SNEL/GOMA). The Société Nationale d'Electricité is a commercial company operating in the energy sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Our research focused on the area of staff training. The aim was to verify whether there is a link between continuous training and organizational performance within the company. At the end of our investigations, we found that SNEL/Goma has a training program as a strategic tool that allows it to reconcile both its needs and objectives with those of its staff. But this program does not follow the classic steps for implementing a training plan, and the staff are not worth their weight in gold in managing the training process. However, we have noted that the training action has positive effects on both individual performance and the overall performance of this company.
