Project management is to projects what blood is to the body, or what water is to life. From initiation to planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and even close-out; project management skills and prudent application of these skills to projects is what determines project success. The sad story of numerous stalled projects around the continent of Africa and beyond largely resonates with that of lack of skilled manpower to manage projects. This book analyses some of the critical factors that lead to project stalling.
