Autorenporträt
Jenni Prisk was born and raised in New Zealand. In 1983, she and her husband moved to San Diego, California, where they have lived for almost forty years. She has an LTCL in Speech and Drama from Trinity College, London. Jenni founded award-winning Prisk Communication to provide public speaking and communication skills throughout the United States and internationally. She chaired the San Diego County Commission on the Status of Women and Girls from 2015-2017. Jenni served as President of the Association of California Commissions on the Status of Women (ACCW) from 2016-2018 and as an Ambassador for United State of Women (USOW). Jenni founded and hosts iVOW, a podcast program that features the voices of marginalized women (www.voicesofwomen.org). She has served as an advisory member of the Women Peacemakers' Program at the Institute for Peace & Justice at the University of San Diego, and has worked extensively to uplift refugee women. Jenni is a founding committee member of the San Diego Workplace Equity Initiative and a member of Global Women NZ. She continues her passion for theatre as a critic. Jenni loves travel, gardening, walking, and painting, and oscillating life between San Diego and the Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
