What can you do when the world hurls chaos, suffering, violence, and insurmountable hardship into your life? Does it seem that you're involved within a spiritual battle that you cannot escape? Is there any way to prevent the devastation it presents? Is there hope for overcoming the challenges you face? Is there a spiritual power you can turn to for help? Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:13 NIV (New International Version) Casey's desire is to influence, encourage, and affect positive change with readers who are questioning how to handle constant battles faced throughout life. She points to the love, healing, justice, and mercy of the living God through relatable topics that are of concern to the masses today, plausible choices held before each person, and the gambit of potential consequences or rewards to reap.
Autorenporträt
Carin Jayne Casey, the oldest of several children, grew up in a dysfunctional, sometimes violent home. Her family had moved from Ohio to rural West Virginia while she was a teen when tragedy struck their family. Casey married her high-school sweetheart and bore two wonderful children. Her marriage failed, and she was eventually lured into a violent and life-threatening relationship. Casey strives to educate and encourage people to conquer life challenges. As she recovered from domestic violence, her gratitude toward the Lord motivated her to write books and to provide podcasts for others to gain tools in their overcoming process, to find victory, and enjoy life. Casey served four years on the Board of Directors for Yeshua's House (www.yeshuashouse.net), a faith-based, non-profit safe-haven for women overcoming domestic violence and/or financial issues. She currently participates in various outreach and mission efforts with local church groups. Casey graduated from Radford University and served the Commonwealth of Virginia for 31 years. Carin Jayne Casey is a Virginia licensed business and author's pen name.
