On the basis of results obtained from the present investigation the following conclusions are drawn: 1. The drip system with irrigation as per crop evapotranspiration demand (IW/ETc ratio, 1.00) is giving best performance in terms of crop yield and quality parameters of garlic in Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh under situation of shortage of irrigation water. Water use efficiency and water productivity is found to be best when irrigation amount is 60% of crop evapotranspiration requirement.2. The fertilizer application as fertigation at a rate of 100:50:50:50 kg/ha (N:P:K:S) is best in terms of crop yield and quality of garlic under drip fertigation in Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.3. The drip fertigation treatment with 100% irrigation amount of crop evapotranspiration demand and fertigation at a rate of 100:50:50:50 kg/ha (N:P:K:S) give the highest economic return for garlic cultivation in Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.
