If anyone can claim having led three lives consecutively I would be a likely candidate. Not only did I own two Century 21 franchises, which required many hours of work, but I was deeply involved in trying to save the TV show Starman. I even had a personal life of sorts. Often all three facets of my existence converged into one. Mainly it was Starman that dominated my life during the late '80s and early '90s, and almost everything I did was intertwined with my passion for the show. Even the trip to New York would have been less memorable had I not met with Spotlight Starman folks. They treated me like royalty, not only in the Big Apple, but also in Washington, D.C. Winning a trip to New York was just one of those events that occurred in the span of a few years. A trip to Alaska along the Inland Passage via a ferry cannot be dicsounted. It was an adventure worthy of a book in itself. Driving to Ohio with a trunk full of cookbooks also had its ups and downs, to say the least. However, above and beyond everything I have experienced during that time the joy I received from our first Starman Celebration in San Diego in November 1987 cannot be topped. These are but a few of the extraordinary things described in the chapters that follow. Meeting celebrities was just a small part of it, but making dozens of new friends was a reward that was unexpected or even anticipated They have enriched my life in more ways than I can describe.
