Autorenporträt
Justin Mitson's debut children's book, Starry Night Surprise, is a love letter to his daughters. It is the written version of a story that he made up for them on the way home from a long camping trip when the radio wouldn't work. This story became part of a series of bedtime stories that lasted years. Justin Mitson is an engineer and manager for a semiconductor company in Boise by day, and a dedicated entrepreneur and freelance writer by night. Born in Butte, Montana, he spent most of his childhood roaming around the Northwest, living in dozens of different locations before getting through high school. He married Lorna, his amazing chemical engineering wife, when he was nineteen. They graduated together from Montana State University in 1996. They live now in Boise, Idaho with their two daughters.
