When we are young, many of us are so desperate to love someone and to be loved by that same someone. Sometimes we forget how special and powerful we are when someone swoons us because we romanticize how love is supposed to feel. We so often compare it to the moon though it embodies the sun better, for it does not wax and wane as the moon does, but grows radiant instead. This book is a remembrance of my youthful love and how beautiful I thought the moon was on my journey to the sun.

Autorenporträt
Though originally hailing from St. Louis, I recently settled in the southeast after serving overseas in Korea with the U.S. Army. I am now currently pursuing higher education while also continuing to chase my passion in poetry. In fifth grade I had written a haiku about dragons that got published in our school book, and after that day I knew that I wanted to have a book of my own poems published for people to read and relate to. Not only do I hope for some to find companionship within the lines I have written, but I also hope there are many more lines to come after these.
