Autorenporträt
Michael C. Prokop has been writing Starship Moonhawk for more of his life than he has not. What started as a fun fantasy and an exercise in brainstorming almost 25 years ago, has become an almost obsessive compulsion. He has been influenced by many of the sci-fi greats such as Norman Spinrad, Robert Heinlein and Gordon Eklund as well as the masters of Japanese "manga" and "anime" such as Leijii Matsumoto, Haruhiko "HAL" Mikimoto and Osamu Tezuka. Starship Moonhawk is now more than the sum of its parts, and will soon spawn a movie, a TV-style Original Net Animation series, a webcomic, a graphic novel, a short film and more. Michael currently lives modestly in Tucson, AZ with his partner, Jamie Jennings and their cats.
