The aim of the study was to study and improve the organizational and economic mechanism of development of the hotel services market and to develop directions for improving the activities of hotel enterprises in market conditions.The purpose and logic of the research stipulated the statement and solution of the following main tasks:- studying of features of development of hotel economy in the conditions of the market; - carrying out of the marketing analysis of the organizational-economic mechanism of development of hotel economy;- development of proposals to improve the activities of hoteliers in the market conditions;- to clarify the concept of hotel chains in relation to the formation of the hotel services market in conditions of denationalization of the hotel economy, as a set of legally independent hotel farms.
