The monograph deals with one of the key problems of transit economies, i.e. industrial enterprises adaptation to the conditions of transformation of the economic environment. On the example of the Republic of Kazakhstan which is actively integrating into the world community forming the economy of new type, there are considered new mechanisms and ways of industrial enterprises adaptation in the context of new industrial policy which laid the foundation for industrial and innovative development. There is presented the analysis of tools of the adaptive mechanism which were used by enterprises for deducing competitive positions and working in the format of the Eurasian Economic Union. The results of studies and generalizing results of the first stage of industrial development show the key role of the state in regulating the adaptation processes. The author comes to the conclusion that the program of industrial development of the country accelerated enterprises adaptation, however it could not impact cardinally the change of the development model.
