State University of New York at Canton is not a complicated story, but it is an interesting and compelling one. Autorenporträt
Author Douglas Welch, a published writer and professional librarian, has worked for 13 years at SUNY Canton's Southworth Library. A resident of the North Country since 1980, he notes that the college is very much a product of the region, reflecting both the rugged landscape and the hardy character of its residents. He has compiled State University of New York at Canton using nearly 200 photographs, many of which appear in print for the first time. This stirring tribute is sure to appeal to all North Country residents, as well as alumni and the rest of the college community.
