When the issue of economic growth and the development of the financial institutions is raising, one has to take into consideration that there is a significant relationship between the savings and loan given by the commercial banks. The major concern of this study is the empirical statistical analysis of savings to loan ratio in commercial banks of Rwanda case of BPR branch of Rubavu. Findings of this research are presented to the objectives of this study. The result of this study was based on secondary data founded in BPR branch of Rubavu period of 2007-2012. This study has used the analysis of variance for achieving the result. From our study we found that the loan given by BPR branch of Rubavu explains 99% of variability in deposit, loan demanded, portfolio at risk and reserves. This study has four main objectives to analyze if loans given by BPR branch of Rubavu are proportional with deposit, loan demanded, reserve, and portfolio at risk and the methodology has been used in analyzing is analysis of variance and Microsoft Excel.
