Air pollution has always been one of the major problems in the world which is in dire need of attention. Statistical data, in accordance with real time search and rankings tells us that at present India is easily considered one of the, if not the country with the worst air quality index. However, this issue is being taken care of at a snail's pace where many people are still not aware of it's consequences in the future or of the tools which help us measure the extent of the problem. This study aims at spreading word about the current quality of air in Indian cities, how it varies over the span of time and seasons, correlating the factors that have an effect on it and finding information on its effects and steps being taken to solve this problem by making use of statistical tools.
