Completely updated and revised, this third edition presents methods for the design and analysis of surveys, studies, and experiments when the data is qualitative and categorical. The authors also cover the delta methods for multinomial frequencies. They discuss new topics in misclassification and in reliability assessment. _ Includes a new chapter on logistic regression. _ Discusses the design and analysis of random trials. _ Explores the latest applications of sample size tables. _ Contains a new section on binomial distribution.
