The findings of our research investigation are presented in the form of this book, which are summarized in Chapters 2 to 5. Chapter-2 starts with basic point estimation in half-normal distribution from complete as well as Type-II censored samples followed by development of variable control charts for half-normal process variate. We made an attempt to study the control chart constants through Bowley's and Kelley's coefficients of skewness corrections. Also the comparison of Shewart and those based on Bowley's and Kelley's coefficients of skewness is made through an illustration. In Chapter-3,…mehr

In Chapter-3, we developed acceptance sampling plans, group acceptance sampling plans and hybrid group acceptance sampling plans based on truncated life tests. Also the Operating Characteristic and Producer's risk are studied through an illustration. In Chapter-4, we studied Analysis of Means (ANOM) to the half-normal distribution through extreme value control charts. In Chapter-5, we studied three different statistics to discriminate between the half-normal and half logistic distributions. The references are appended alphabetically at the end of the book.
