William H. Jarrett was born and raised in Lauderdale County, Tennessee. He currently serves as Pastor of the St. Mark Baptist Church Henning, Tennessee. He is married to Rose Marie Jarrett, and the father of two daughters. Educated in the Lauderdale County School System, Pastor Jarrett holds degrees from Dyersburg State Community College, Union University, and Trinity Theological Seminary. As a committed and dedicated member of the community in which he lives, Pastor Jarrett's service includes, but is not limited to the following: board member of the Alex Haley Museum for (5) five years; Chairman of the Board for the Lauderdale County Water District; Vice- Chairman of the Delta Human Resource Agency Emergency Food & Shelter Board; the Lauderdale County Zoning Board.Pastor Jarrett has served as Moderator of the West Tennessee Baptist Missionary and Educational Association for (8) eight years, Western Regional Vice- President of Congress of Christian Education for (4) four years, Western Regional Vice- President of the Tennessee Baptist Missionary and Education Convention Incorporated (8) eight years, and Chairman of the Trustee Board for the Tennessee School of Religion Memphis, Tennessee.Pastor Jarrett is a Retired Reservist of the Military with twenty years of service
