RICCARDO QUINTO is Associate Professor of History of Philosophy at the University of Padua. In 1990 he obtained a Ph.D research degree in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Milan. He furthered his training with periods of study in Munich, Copenhagen (Institut du Moyen Age Grec et Latin), and at the Catholic Universities of Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium). MAGDALENA BIENIAK is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw. She read for the PhD in Philosophy at the University of Padua and at the Université de Sorbonne - Paris IV (co-tutelle) in 2008, and she obtained the award of Doctor Europaeus.
